The European Diabetic Nephropathy Study Group (EDNSG) was founded by a group of Diabetes Specialists with a particular interest in nephropathy and acts as a reference group for the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) in matters related to diabetic kidney disease.

Full details of invited speakers will be updated soon. We are delighted to announce that keynote lectures are given by Professor Robert Nelson, Professor Victor Puelles and Professor Liffert Vogt.
Target audience
The group is made up of Nephrologists and Diabetologists with an interest in diabetic kidney disease ranging from the structural and functional to the clinical. To become a member of the group one has to present an abstract at one of the annual meetings. We are particularly encouraging attendance of new researchers in the field and would welcome members from around the world. The atmosphere is one of a workshop and active contribution is encouraged.

Abstracts information
All abstracts on any topic relating to diabetic nephropathy research are welcome and should be submitted as an attachment (RTF or word-format) by e-mail to the Secretary of the Study Group: ednsg.org@gmail.com
- State name of presenter in ‘subject’ line of the e-mail – and please use separate mails for each abstract submitted.
- The abstract must not exceed one page of A4 paper, font size not smaller than 12.
- Please mention the affiliations
- Authors will be informed on acceptance of their abstract by early March 2025.
Structure your abstract with the following headings:

- Design
- Setting
- Patients
- Main Outcome Measurements
- Results and Conclusions
